This page details how (and where) each field can be used in the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics, Grouped Filter Results and Work Log Report.

In general, all number fields and single option custom fields (including single select, radio buttons) can be summed up.

Additionally, all text custom fields can be summed up in the gadgets (meaning that the total will be displayed in the sum row) that return a value that can be cast to a number (integer or double), e.g.

In the Filter Results gadget, all fields can be selected, but only the ones listed in the Sum column below are actually summed up.
