Events can be filtered by Name, Status, Default Template, Associated Notification Scheme, or Associated Workflows. They also provide an ID.
There are two types of event:
System - Jira defined events
Custom - user defined events
An event can be in one of the following states:
Active - the event is associated with a notification scheme and/or workflow transition post function
Inactive - the event is not associated with a notification scheme or workflow transition post function
It is only possible to delete an inactive custom event.
