The Configuration Quick Search feature enables you to jump directly to any system entity in the Jira instance. It allows you to easily search for system entities by Name, ID, or Key. Additionally, all elements are listed with their respective ID and grouped under their configuration area for quick reference.

G and X

G + X provides access to Jira configuration. This allows you to quickly navigate to configuration overview pages and search for specific configuration elements, projects, and schemes.

Clicking on any of the filtered items will redirect you to the specific configuration page, with the pre-selected filter that you chose.

Admin Toolbox includes a keyboard shortcut GX to open a specialized search bar. Unlike the default admin search, this feature allows you to directly search for any configuration elements such as schemes, projects, or custom fields. The results are grouped by type and display each element's ID, aiding in quick identification and referencing, especially useful for apps like ScriptRunner. Clicking a result takes you directly to the relevant administration page with prefiltered details, streamlining your navigation and search process.
