The Configuration Quick Search feature enables you to jump directly to any configuration element in the Jira instance. e.g. Projects, Schemes, or Custom Fields. It allows you to easily search for configuration elements by Name, ID, or Key. Additionally, all elements are listed with their respective ID and grouped under their configuration area for quick reference. It is accessed by pressing G + X.
This feature, unlike the default admin search, allows you to directly search for configuration elements like Schemes, Projects, or Custom Fields. Results are grouped by type and display each element's ID. You can also search by IDs. Clicking a result takes you directly to the relevant administration page with pre-filtered details.
