Overview

This feature allows administrators to get an overview of existing workflows in your system, including the number of validators, conditions, and post functions used and grouped by apps.

View workflows, transition attributes, workflow attributes, and errors by switching tabs.

The workflow report can be reached via Administration → Issues → Workflow report or directly in the Jira administration.

Workflow tab

Displays all apps that contribute to the workflows, grouped by validators, conditions, and post functions.

Clicking on the numbers will filter the table underneath to include only the workflows that fulfill these conditions. Refreshing will reset the filter.

Workflows can then be visualized in detail or compressed.

Workflows can be filtered by searching for Names, XML, or Description, as well as by the workflow's status (Active, Draft, Inactive).

Pagination

If your filters return more than 10 workflows, the results will be spread across multiple pages.

You can navigate through these pages at the bottom and adjust the number of workflows displayed per page if necessary.

Workflow Attribute Report tab

The Workflow Attribute Report tab provides an overview of the used validators, conditions, transitions, and post functions.

Transition Attribute Report tab

The Transition Attribute Report functions similarly to the Workflow Attribute Report tab, but it also displays the usage of Screens, States, and Transition Properties.

Error tab

All workflow errors caused by apps will be displayed in this tab.

In the following example, an app adds a post function that has been deactivated, yet it is still being used in a workflow, resulting in an error being displayed.
